EGG PARATHA – BAIDA ROTI

Ingredients used in EGG PARATHA – BAIDA ROTI
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Egg - 1-1/2 numbers.
• Oil - 3-4 tablespoons.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies(chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mince meat - 250 grams.
• Spring onions - 2 tablespoons.
• Tomato(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, mix it.
  • Then add half an egg along with some water, mix this like soft dough by even adding oil and knead the dough. Later, let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add chopped onions, salt, ginger garlic paste, cook till its raw flavor is gone then add green chilies, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, also put mince meat, cook this till it is tender, then add coriander leaves.
  • Roll out the dough into big chapatti and place some mince masala in the center and put some spring onions, tomato pieces, chopped mint and coriander leaves, pour one egg and fold it four sides like a pocket.
  • Heat the griddle and cook the baida roti on both sides. Later, cut them into 4 pieces and serve it hot.
