Ingredients used in DAL RASAM
• Oil - as required.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chillies - 2-3 numbers.
• Onion slices - 1 number.
• Garlic - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chilies - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chana dal water(boiled) - 1 cup.
• Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Add some oil in a hot pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chillies, onion slices, garlic and saute it.
  • Now add salt , red chilies, curry leaves, turmeric, and mix well.
  • After 2 minutes of cooking add boiled chana dal water and tamarind juice.
  • After 2-3 minutes of boiling add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  • Serve with rice or bobbatlu.

Please be careful while u add oil. U have added so much oil for a simple rasam. This is typical your husband style of cooking not home cooking!?
