Ingredients used in Dahi Bhalla
• Urad dal - 1 cup.
• Yogurt sweet - 2 cup.
• Tamarind chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Raisins - as required.
• Chopped coriander leaves - 3 bunch.
• Oil to fry - as required.
• Sev - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chat masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Roasted cumin powder - pinch.
• Mint chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - as required.
Method:
  • Wash and soak the dal in cold water overnight.
  • Next day, strain and grind to a smooth paste. Whisk into the batter 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Heat oil, drop tablespoons of batter in it and fry until light golden.For a variation , use raisins and cashews as stuffing in middle and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Put the above prepared bhalla's in hot water. Leave for 2 minutes. Drain, squeezing out the water between the palm of your hands.
  • Whisk the yogurt well with sugar as to taste.
  • Serve the bhalla's on a plate and cover it with yogurt. Drizzle mint chutney and tamarind chutney, red chili powder, sev, cumin powder.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve it.

whats the other stuffing? i personaly dont really like cashewnutts (bad english) i couldnt really understand what you said as another stuffing, so. :) 5* looks delicious
