Ingredients used in Dabba Gosht
• Meat - 500 grams.
• Corn - 1/2 cup.
• Yellow, green bell pepper (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Green peas - 1 cup.
• Cheese (grated) - 1 cup.
• Chilli sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Milk - 1 cup.
• Chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cardamom - 3 numbers.
• Eggs - 3 numbers.
• Beans (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrot (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Macaroni (boiled) - 1 cup.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Eggs (boiled & sliced) - 2 numbers.
• Tomato (sliced) - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - as required.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Star anise - 1 number.
• Biryani flower - 1 number.
• Cinnamon stick - 2 small.
Method:
  • Take a pressure cooker, add meat, whole garam masala spices ( cardamom, cloves, star anise, biryani flower,cinnamon stick), turmeric powder, salt, water (as required), and cook it with closed lid for about 2 to 3 whistles.
  • In a bowl, add 3 eggs, salt (to taste), chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Keep aside.

For preparation of white sauce:

  • Melt butter in a pan, add all purpose flour and mix it well, cook it till raw flavors of flour is gone.
  • Then add cumin seeds, chopped onions, chopped garlic, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, chilli powder, mix well.
  • Later cook the above mixture by adding milk in small quantities.
  • Add cooked meat pieces along with stock to the above pan, mix it.
  • In the same pan, add salt, green peas, chopped yellow, green bell pepper, corn, beans, carrot, macaroni, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, mix it well and switch off the flame.
  • At last, add cheese to the above pan, then transfer this in to haven proof dish, add thin slices of tomatoes and boiled egg then again layer it again with above prepared gravy and finally top it with beaten eggs.
  • Finally, Let it cook at 170 degree centigrade for about 20 minutes in an oven.

Delicious Dabba Gosht is now ready to serve.

a bit overdone recipe for me. id finish after adding the veggies to the meat stew and serve it like that maybe with some cooked potatoes :)
