Ingredients used in Cornbread casserole
• Ground beef - 500 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green pepper (chopped) - 1 number.
• Cream of celery soup - 2 can.
• Tabasco sauce - 3 teaspoons.
• Prepared mustard - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - to taste.
• Jiffy cornbread mix - 1 number.
Method:
  • Crumble meat and brown in skillet with onion and green pepper. Drain off fat.
  • Add soups tabasco and mustard. Mix well.
  • Then add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into greased 9x9 pan.
  • Pre heat oven to 400 deg.
  • Prepare cornbread mix according to pkg. directions and pour over meat mixture spreading evenly to edges of pan.
  • Bake appx. 30 min or until top of cornbread is golden brown. Check by inserting toothpick or knife for doneness.
