Ingredients used in Colocasia-Chamadumpa Mutton Curry
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Colocasia - 500 grams.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nut paste - 3 tablespoons.
• Green chillies paste - 8 numbers.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Garam masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Black cumin seeds- shahi jeera - 1 tea spoon.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh cream - 3 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoons.
• Oil - 5 teaspoons.
• Onion paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take the pan and add the colocasia, water and cook it. Once it is cool, remove the peel.
  • Heat oil in the pan and fry colocasia and keep it aside.
  • Take the mixie jar and add green chillies and grind it into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil and add garam masala, black cumin seeds, and saute it.
  • Add the mutton and saute it, to it add onion paste, ginger garlic paste, green chilly paste, salt, water and let it cook with the lid on it.
  • Add cardamom powder, coriander powder, fresh cream, yogurt, cashew nut paste and fried colocasia mix thoroughly.

Atlast garnish with coriander leaves and serve it.
