CHILLI ALOO TAVA KULCHA

Ingredients used in CHILLI ALOO TAVA KULCHA
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Baking powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Oil - (1-2) tablespoons.
• Potato(boiled and mashed) - 2 numbers.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - (1-2) tablespoons.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Amchur powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Black sesame seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger (finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Take a bowl, add all purpose flour, wheat flour, baking powder, sugar, ghee, yogurt and mix thoroughly to make a soft dough, apply little oil and keep aside.
  • Take a bowl and add mashed potato, red chili powder, coriander leaves, green chilies, amchur powder, garam masala, mix nicely and make round balls for stuffing.
  • Divide the dough into small portion, press it with hands. Later stuff masala and close the edges.
  • Place it on the polythene sheet, press it lightly and sprinkle black sesame seeds, ginger, coriander leaves.
  • Apply little oil to hands and press it. Then sprinkle little water like as shown in the video.
  • Place it on the hot tawa and cook with the lid on it.
  • Turn on other side and cook it again with closed lid on it.
  • Transfer it to a plate and apply oil on it.

Now the chilli aloo tava kulcha are ready to serve.
