Ingredients used in CHICKPEA AND CHEESE CROQUETTES
• Fennel seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Peppercorns - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chickpeas - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mint leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Anardhana powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chickpea flour - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Paneer(grated) - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Cheese piece - 10 numbers.
• Oil - to fry.
• Corn flour - 1/2 cup.
Method:
Take a pan and add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, peppercorns and dry roast it. Transfer into blender and blend into powder. To it add boiled chickpeas and blend into paste, later transfer into a bowl and add salt, mint leaves, anardhana powder, chickpea flour and mix nicely. Take a plate and add grated paneer, green chillies, salt and mix nicely. Take small dumpling give a flat round shape with hand and stuff cheese piece inside. On top of paneer coat chickpea mixture. Apply little water and roll in cornflour and deep fry in hot oil. Transfer into paper towel and cut into 2 pieces. Now the chickpea and cheese croquettes are ready to serve.
