Ingredients used in CHHENA PODA
• Cashew nuts - 100 grams.
• Sugar - 500 grams.
• Semolina - 150 grams.
• Cheese - 1000 grams.
• Raisin - 50 grams.
• Cinnamon - 50 grams.
Method:
  • Mix the cheese, semolina, and sugar and knead it properly to get a homogeneous batter.
  • Add a little water if required while kneading. Add cashew nuts, raisin and cardamom to the batter. Put the same in the dish container of oven leaving about one inch at the top of the container empty.
  • Preheatthe oven. Now bake the batter for about one-and-a-half hours (until the top appears brown).
  • Take the container out of the oven. Allow it to cool.

Delicious chhena poda is ready.nbsp; Cut it into desired shapes like cakes before serving

I love Chhena poda.. I am from Orissa, which is where this dish comes from, and I had never thought it would be possible to re-create it seven seas apart !! Thanks for the recipe, will surely try it out..!!
