CHANA DAL COCONUT PAYASAM

Ingredients used in CHANA DAL COCONUT PAYASAM
• Cashew nuts - 10 numbers.
• Raisins - 10 numbers.
• Chana dal - 1 cup.
• Jaggery - 3/4 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 pinch.
• Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Milk - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cashew nuts, raisins, and saute it.
  • To it add chana dal and saute it, later add milk and cook it until it is 90% done.
  • Add jaggery, cardamom powder, grated coconut and cook it for 5 minutes on slow flame.

Now the chana dal coconut payasam is ready to serve.
