Chana dal and brinjal curry is among the wonderful combo curry that is best to offer with hot plain rice. Quick and simple to make. It's very yummy and famous in south Indian cuisine.

Brinjal Curry is a superb and extremely flavorful curry made of baby brinjals. It is a quite popular dish in the south Indian delicacies specifically in Tamil Nadu. There are several methods for making a brinjal curry.

Brinjal Curry is an easy and yummy food that you can make for your lunch or special occasions.  It is a traditional Tamil Nadu kuzhambu recipe and it is a little bit overwhelming for lazy people. Brinjal Curry is an extremely tasty dish within the veggie delicacies which goes nicely with roti, chappati and just about all rice dishes. Brinjal or eggplant includes a meaty firm texture and mixes perfectly with the gravy

Chana dal is amongst the well-known lentils used in making a number of dishes in the Indian delicacies. They're also known as Bengal gram or split desi peas. Chana dal is appreciated primarily due to its fantastic flavor and it is used in making many different salads, curries, snacks etc. The dal is rich and very yummy after cooking. the legumes are also roasted and powdered into flour (besan). Besan could be involved in making many different sweet delicacies.

The chana dal carries an attractive aroma and absorbs the tastes of the spices very well. As soon as it starts cooking and getting combined with the spice mix, you'll breathe in the air with delight. And due to the hard to mess up texture unlike other lentils, this is cooked by braising the lentils using the spice mix for a while, in the same way you'd do to with the meat.  The whole spices and also the fresh ginger provides an attractive delicate taste to this dish.

Brinjal is another remarkable veggie that's flexible and mixes perfectly along with other vegetables, non-veg foods and spices. Choose only those eggplants (brinjal) which have smooth and glossy skin. The color, no matter what you buy, should be very vibrant. An eggplant that's discolored or has scars and bruises isn't a good option. It shows that the flesh inside the eggplant is damaged or perhaps rotting.

Benefits:

Eggplant or Brinjal is quite low in fats and calories but full of soluble fiber material. It includes good quantities of several necessary B-complex categories of vitamins like vitamin B5, B6, B1, B3

Chana dal is incredibly yummy in taste, packed with nutrition and can be digested very easily.  Chana dal is lower in fat, full of fiber that helps in lower cholesterol. Additionally, it includes a very low glycemic index, which is very important to people with diabetes, and ideal supply of calcium, proteins, folate and zinc.
