Ingredients used in CARROT PAYASAM WITH CASHEWS
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Cashewnuts - 1 cup.
• Milk{2 litres} - 2000 ml.
• Carrot{grated} - 2 cup.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Soak the cashewnuts in half cupmilk for 1 hour. Boil the 1 (1/2) leters milk in a thick bottom bowl and keep aside.
  • Fry the grated carrots with 2 tablespoons. Ghee till it looks little dry. Grind the fried carrots and soaked cashews along with milk like course paste.
  • Add the paste to the boiled milk and cook for five minutes on a low flame. Add sugar and cook few more minutes till the sugar melts completely. Keep on stirring till everything comes together.
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well. Carrots cashews payasam is ready. Eat when it is cold.
