Ingredients used in Buttermilk Chakkalu
• Rice flour - 1 cup.
• Sesame seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Carom seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Butter cubes - 2 number.
• Yogurt - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • Take a bowl, add rice flour, sesame seeds, carom seeds, salt, red chili powder, butter and mix nicely.
  • Add yogurt to the same pan and mix nicely to make dough.
  • Place it in chekkalu machine, press mould in hot oil and deep fry until it is crispy.
  • At last, transfer into paper towel and serve it.
