Ingredients used in Bottle Gourd Peel Chutney
• Peel of bottle gourd - 1 cup.
• Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Green chili - 2 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Coconut - to taste.
• Peanut powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Cooking oil - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a kadai or frying pan. Fry bottle gourd peeluntil it is crisp. Or pressure cook the skin until it is soft. Let it cool.
  • In a grinder, add bottle gourd peel, coconut, chillies, peanut powder, salt, sugar and corianderleaves. Grind into fine paste.
  • Take this mixture out in a bowl. Add lemon juice and mix.

Serve it with roti or rice.
