BLACK GARBANZO PEPPER RICE

Ingredients used in BLACK GARBANZO PEPPER RICE
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Black garbanzo bean - half cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Mustard seeds - half tea spoon.
• Red chilly - 4 numbers.
• Channa dhal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dhal - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaf - 2 springs.
• Hing - half tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - half tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - half tea spoon.
• Cilatro/corriander chopped - 3 teaspoons.
Method:
  • Soak the black garbanzo bean for 12 hours. And then boil the bean with salt
  • Boil the rice with salt. The rice grain should be seperate
  • In a pan, Pour Oil. Once the oil is hot Add Mustrad seeds. Once the seed cracked Add Red Chilli and channa dhal. Add curry leaves. Aftter the channa dhal is half fried. Add urad dhal.
  • Once the dhal is slightly brown Add boiled bean. Fry for a minute.
  • Add Hing Add Pepper powder/Crushed Pepper Add cumin Powder Add the boiled rice.
  • Add ghee and then Mix well.
  • Add chopped dhaniya/corriander/cilatro.
