Ingredients used in BLACK CHANNA CURRY OR KALA CHANNA SUBGI
• Tamarind juice - 1 cup.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic - 5 cloves.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Onions - 3 numbers.
• Boiled kala channa - 1 cup.
• Musterd seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilli - 3 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Grind one oinion, garlic, coriander powder. make it like a paste and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil add onians, curry leaves, green chilli, turmeric Add onion garlic paste and fry till it comes brown (in slow heat oil comes out)
  • Add tomato pieces fry till they mix with masala (Tomatoes become paste) add red chilli powder when tomatoes are cooking add tamarind juice, salt add boiled chana and cook for some time finally add coriander leaves
