Ingredients used in Bendi Pyaz
• Okras(bendi) - 250 grams.
• Chopped onion - 1 cup.
• Sliced green chilies - 5 no.
• Chopped coriander leaves - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Wash the okras, pat dry and cut to small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add okra pieces, onions, green chilies and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat by covering with a lid. Stir occasionally.
  • Now, add salt, turmeric powder, chopped coriander leaves and stir well.

Serve with parathas.
