Ingredients used in Badam Lauki ka Halwa
• Sugar - 250 grams.
• Lauki/bottle gourd(grated) - 250 grams.
• Ghee - 1/2 cup.
• Badam - 100 grams.
• Khoya - 200 grams.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Soak the almonds and remove the skin from it then put in a blender and make a coarse paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add almond paste and keep stir on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Then add grated lauki(i.e., bottle gourd) and cook this for few minutes.
  • Add sugar to the same pan, keep mixing it by stirring till mixture is dried out.
  • At last, add khoya, cardamom powder, mix it up and switch off the flame.

Serve this hot.

Chef, it would be very responsible of you to address the fact that bottle gourd (lauki) can be extremely toxic if it's very bitter. It would be honest of you to do so since you're making a recipe everyone can try preparing after seeing you do
