Asian Noodles with Chicken and Shrimp

Ingredients used in Asian Noodles with Chicken and Shrimp
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 2 tablespoons.
• Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoons.
• Red chili sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Fish sauce - 1 tea spoon.
• Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Eggs - 2 numbers.
• Broccoli (chopped) - 50 grams.
• Cabbage (juliennes) - 50 grams.
• Carrot (juliennes) - 1 number.
• Baby corns (slices) - 50 grams.
• Shrimps - 100 grams.
• Chicken (juliennes) - 100 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Dark soya sauce - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions (sliced) - 1 number.
• Pak choi - 50 grams.
• Bell peppers (green, red, yellow) - 50 grams.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger (juliennes) - 1 piece.
• Beans sprout - 2 tablespoons.
• Boiled noodles - 100 grams.
• Garlic (juliennes) - 4 numbers.
• Spring onions (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a bowl, add oyster sauce, fish sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, pepper powder, salt, dark soya sauce, mix this and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add eggs, scramble then transfer to a plate.
  • Pour some more oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic juliennes, shrimp, saute it and add chicken juliennes, cook it for some time.
  • Add onions, bell peppers (green, red, yellow), baby corn, carrot, cabbage, broccoli, saute it on high flame.
  • Then pour the slurry of the sauce, mix this, even add boiled noodles, toss it well.
  • In it, add beans sprout, pak choi, earlier prepared scrambled eggs, toss them again.
  • At last, sprinkle spring onions to the above pan and serve it hot.

Sorry chef , looks yummy but definitely not a Malaysian style noodles . Ours is spicy and we use chili paste ( Sambal) and not that much of tomato ketchup .

Look up some Kwetiao Ayam. Delicious noodle dish. Indonesian and malay cooking got alot in common. For delicious malay noodle dishes I recommend a good indian style Mi Goreng.
