Ingredients used in ACHARI PANEER
• Paneer - 250 grams.
• Red chillies - 4 numbers.
• Yogurt - 1/2 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Tomatoes - 1 number.
• Bell pepper - 1 number.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Dil leaves - 1 bunch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Vinegar - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Heat a pan add red chillies, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry roast this and put it into the blender and make a powder, in this add tomato, bell pepper make a paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions, salt, cook the onions till golden in colour, add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, saute it and add dill leaves (optional) mix it well and add the prepared achari masala, coriander powder, mix it well cook this till oil is oozing out and add yogurt, water, mix it and add vinegar, sugar, cook this till oil oozes out add fried paneer cook this some time and serve this hot.
  • Achari paneer is a dish made with flavour of a pickle.

Paneer can be fit anywhere in dish and make it delicious.

Paneer is easier than other cheese to make at home. It needs only few hours for all process and only two ingredients- To make delicious paneer boil milk and an acid (lemon juice or vinegar) is added, add resulting into lumps and greenish whey are separated. Paneer are simply pressed into a cube and then sliced or chopped or grated.

Paneer can be combine with almost every veggie like peas, spinach, tomato, potato capsicum, etc. Some common paneer dishes: Matar Paneer, Palak Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka, Paneer Pakora, Stuffed Paneer paratha, Rasogulla

In nowadays, most of the international restaurant in India also have paneer as one of the flavor in wraps, pizza topping or in sandwiches.
