Ingredients used in RIdge gourd skin chutney
• Mustard - little to taste.
• Oil - little to fry.
• Salt - 1 to taste.
• Green chillies - 2 big.
• Peeled skin of ridge gourd - 1 big.
• Cumin seeds - little to taste.
• Urad dal - little to taste.
Method:
Add little oil in a pan. When oil gets heated, add green chillies. Fry for a minute and remove the green chillies. Now in the same pan add the peeled skin of ridge gourd and fry for 4-5 minutes till it becomes soft. Add the fried skin of ridge gourd, green chillies and little water(if necessasary) to a blender and make a fine paste. To this make a tadka of mustard seeds,cumin seeds and urad dal, and mix all to gether. This goes good with rica and chaptahi.
