EASY YUMMY STRAWBERRY JAM
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Strawberry Crush
Servings : 4 persons
Published date : November 05, 2016

Ingredients used in EASY YUMMY STRAWBERRY JAM
• Castor sugar - 350 grams.
• Strawberry washed and halved - 500 grams.
• The juice of one lemon - 1 number.
Method:
  • Put the strawberries in a pan and sprinkle all of the sugar into it. Close it and keep it in the fridge overnight or for atleast 4-5 hours.
  • Remove from fridge and heat on the stove until the sugar dissolves. This will take about 8 minutes.
  • You can stir once in a while and mash the strawberries in. Keep boiling rapidly.
  • If it foams on top, just remove that layer. Let the strawberries and sugar meld in nicely.
  • Keep a chilled plate in the fridge. Remove it and take a small spoon of the jam and place on the plate. Let it rest and the shake the plate to see if the jam runs or not. It should become a jam like jelly consistency.
  • Once it reaches that stage, remove from fire and cool. Then pour it into sterilized glass bottles and refrigerate. Your yummy strawberry jam is ready. I assure you that you will never want to buy jam from the store again.
