Ingredients used in Cinnamon Buns
• All-purpose flour (maida) - 2.5 cups.
• Sugar - 1/4 cup.
• Milk - 2/3 cup.
• Cinnamon powder - 4 teaspoons.
• Baking powder - 5 teaspoons.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
• Shortening - 2 tablespoons.
• Raisins - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Rub in the shortening and add the milk. This will make a dough soft enough to be rolled on floured pastry board. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and raisins. Roll out to a thickness of1; inch. Cut in pieces 1; inches long.
  • Place in greased pan. Bake in hot oven for about 25 minutes.
