Ingredients used in Poha Chudva
• Cashew nuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sugar - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - few drops.
• Groundnuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds (crushed) - half tea spoon.
• Fried chana dal / dhalia - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chillies - 3 number.
• Rice flakes / poha / attukulu - 1 cup.
• Coriander leaves - as required.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add goundnuts, roasted chana dal, cashew nuts and saute them.
  • Then add turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves, cumin seeds, sugar and mix well.
  • Add poha to the above pan, mix again. Later season it with salt and cook it on slow flame for about 5 minutes till poha is crispy.
  • At last, transfer to a plate, add sugar and mix well.

For another variation:

  • Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, lemon juice in a bowl of fried poha and mix well .

I think u shd roast the poha saperately and the other ingrediets saperately and add grated ginger too and the sugar at the end u can use very fine powdered sugar that gives a good taste and not to forget to add raisins too yummmy
