This airfried simple vegetarian snack is a very tasty dish made with well seasoned paneer and crusted with roasted crushed papad and fried in airfryer. Pappad Paneer is a very innovative and easy to prepare snack which you could offer to guest sudden uninvited guests. Paneer slices coated with subtle spices, batter coated and crumbed with roasted papad which are air fried hardly for just few minutes’ makes a very yummy snack to eat.  The outer part of the snack is crisp while the inner part is soft to eat.

Paneer is a very popular protein rich ingredient that is used in making a variety of exotic and delectable dishes. It is often added to a variety of gravy curries such as butter paneer masala, palak paneer, shahi paneer etc. Paneer is fresh cottage cheese extensively used in Indian cuisine especially in north India. Paneer is very versatile, soft and blends well with creamy sauces. It is usually served as an appetizer or accompaniment to a main course. It is moist and has soft crumbly texture. It is a rich source of milk protein often used in making awesome delicacies such as Sandesh, RasgullaMattar paneer etc. Paneer is slightly chewy consistency and mild flavour. It hold its shape well and doesn’t melt, hence you can sauté it, grill or crumble/ grate and just do about anything to add in your dishes.

Paneer also happens to be one of the easiest cheeses to make at home, requiring nothing more than milk and lemon juice. Paneer is one of the rich source of proteins for most vegetarians and are added to classic Indian dishes like kormas, curries etc. Papad coated paneer tastes extremely good and gives a fantastic twist in taste. These snacks are highly nutritious, air-fried, hardly required any oil for frying but there is no compromise in taste. They taste absolutely great and yummy.

Do try preparing this snack and I am sure your kids too will love to eat. Vahrehvah offer a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian air fried dishes. Do try and eat healthy, nutritious and fresh food to stay fit.
