Ingredients used in Pani Puri
• Potatoes (boiled and mashed) - 125 grams.
• Bean sprouts (steamed) - 100 grams.
• Pani puri / gol gappa - 250 grams.
• Black chickpeas - 125 grams.
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Pani puri masala - 6 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Soak chickpea overnight and keep aside.
  • Grind the mint and coriander leaves into fine paste and keep it aside too.
  • Mix pani puri masala in 2 litres of cold water then season it with mint and coriander paste then add ice cubes. keep aside.
  • Boil or pressure cook these soaked chickpea in a pan or presure cooker in 1 cup of water by adding salt (to taste) then drain and keep aside.
  • Add salt, chilli powder to the potatoes and mix in the boiled chick peas mixture and the bean sprouts (optional).
  • Make a hole on one side in each gol gappa, and fill it with a teaspoon of the potato mixture then top it with a little mint and tamarind chutney.
  • Before serving, dip each gol gappa in prepared pani puri water and serve it.

I need the recipie for the gol gappa, because gol gappa which are available in stores are not so crunchy and the smell of its is not gud.... so could you please show us the recipe of gol gappa too. Thanx
