Ingredients used in Paal sodhi(coconut fish curry)
• Curry leaves - 1 bunch.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Tomato - 1 small.
• Salt - to taste.
• Fish - 5 piece.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Chopped onion - 1 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Coconut milk - 1 1/2 cup.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Lemon - 1 large.
Method:
One cup of coconut milk should not bee thick. It shoulb be watery. Only half cup of coconut milk should be thick. Keep the pan in the stove. add one cup of watery coconut milk. Then add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes, chillies, fish, and some salt to taste. Keep the stove in simmer. Allow the fish to be cooked for 10 minutes. Now add the lemon juice and the thick coconut milk on the mixture. Stir lightly. When this mixture starts boiling turn off the stove. Dont allow it to boil too much. Now, Keep another pan and pour some oil. Add curry leaves, fenu greek seeds and the onion. Fry it till the onion becomes golden brown. Add this into the coconut mixture. Paal sodhi is ready.
