Mogalai Style Almond Cashewnut Puran Poli

Ingredients used in Mogalai Style Almond Cashewnut Puran Poli
• Maida flour - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 3 tablespoons.
• Cashewnuts powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Almonds powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Semolina - 1 cup.
• Fennel powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Nutmeg powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Saffron colour - 1 tablespoon.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take maida flour in abowl, add salt, suji, ghee and mix itto a soft dough by adding water.
  • Now take a pan add ghee, cashew nuts powder, almonds powder, semolina, fry them, add fennel powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder andsaute well.
  • Now add sugar, saffron color, water, cook well till the consistency turns thick, turn off the flame, cool it and shape the mixture into small balls.
  • Now take small portions of dough and roll them into small puris, stuff them with prepared sweet semolina balls, sealthem and shallow fry on both sides.

Mogalai Style Almond Cashewnut Puran Poli is now ready to serve.
