MASALA NAMAKPADA

Ingredients used in MASALA NAMAKPADA
• All purpose flour - 2 cups.
• Semolina/sooji rava - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Carom seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Amchoor powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Buttermilk - 1/4 cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take all purpose flour, sooji, coriander powder, carom seeds, cumin powder, amchoor powder, red chilly powder, salt, butter in a bowl and mix it.
  • Now add little buttermilk and knead like a dough.
  • Add little oil and knead it once again.
  • After 5 minutes of resting with the help of dusting flour roll it with a rolling pin.
  • Now with a knife or pizza cutter cut into diamond shape or any shape of your choice.
  • Deep fry them in hot oil.
  • Take them out on a tissue paper when they become little golden yellow.

Plain Namakpada:

  • Take all purpose flour, sooji, salt, carom seeds, butter in a bowl and mix it.
  • Now add little water and knead like a dough.
  • Add little oil and knead it once again.
  • After 5 minutes of resting with the help of dusting flour roll it with a rolling pin.
  • Now with a knife or pizza cutter cut into diamond shape or any shape of your choice.
  • Deep fry them in hot oil.
  • Take them out on a tissue paper when they become little golden yellow.
