Ingredients used in Makki ki Roti
• Salt to taste - .
• Raddish (optional) - 1/2 piece.
• Hot boiling water to prepare dough - 2 (Approx) cup.
• Corn flour (also known as maize flour or makki ka atta) - 3 cup.
• Kassori methi (optional) - 1 teaspoons.
Method:
Makki ki Roti 3 cups:Corn Flour (Maize Flour) 2 cups (Approx) :Boiling water to prepare dough frac12; Piece :Raddish (Optional) 1 Tsp :Kasoori Methi (Optional) Salt to Taste Method / Directions:- 1.Take all the ingredients in a bowl and add hot water and prepare dough 2.Hot water helps obtain a softer dough that doesnrsquo;t fray at the edges when rolled. 3.Divide into 8-10 portions. Roll out, one at a time, into 1/8 inch thick circles 5-6 inch diameter and . Pressed between the palms to perfection by expert cooks, 4.Cook on medium heat on a tava or cast iron griddle, with or without a brushing of oil, ghee, or butter. Serve with : Sarson ka Sag, Tomato-Onions salad, Jaggery and Mango Pickle Tip: If it is not been prolled properly then I try to roll mine between two layers of plastic.
