First grind the coriander leaves, peeled small onion and the green chillies to a fine paste. Add the paste and salt to the chicken .Marinate the chicken for an hour. Then pressure the cook the chicken (do not make it fully cooked) . remove it from the stove while it is half cooked (2-3 whistles from the pressure cooker). Heat the oil in a non stick pan. (we are not going to deep fry the chicken, it is a shallow fry item) . when the oil is hot add the pressure cooked chicken with all the gravy. simmer the stove and stir in between till the paste get completely coated with the chicken. (you can decide the consistency, you can stop cooking if you wanted it as a gravy) Otherwise cook it till it becomes dry. This will be a very good side with rice and rasam, or even can be used as a starter. Even though it is a dry fry, we use very less oil to fry this. People on diet can prepare this, as the main ingredient is onion and coriander. if small onion is not available you can use any other available onion.

• Green chilly - 5 numbers.
• Small onion - 1 bunch.
