Ingredients used in FISH FRY
• Maral fish(small size) - 7-8 numbers.
• Red chilli powder - 1-2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1-2 teaspoons.
• Lime juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 4-5 tablespoons.
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry coconut powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Curry leaves powder(optional) - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Take the small fish and give gashes to it.
  • Take a bowl and add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, oil, lime juice and mix thoroughly.
  • Now apply this mixture on to the fish and marinate it for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion, salt and saute it.
  • When onions turn golden brown in colour add half teaspoon ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, dry coconut powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and saute it and switch off the flame.
  • Add coriander leaves, curry leaves powder and mix thoroughly and transfer it into a plate.
  • Now add half of this stuffing inside the belly of the fish and keep aside.
  • Heat 4 tablespoon oil and place the fish and cook it on all side and sprinkle the leftover masala, coriander leaves and mix nicely and switch off the flame.

Now the delicious fish fry is ready to serve.
