Ingredients used in Drum stick fry
• Coconut gratings - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - .
• Tamarind paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chillies - 3 numbers.
• Rice - 1 cup.
Soak rice for 2hrs. Grind all the ingredients finely adding water. Do not make the batter too watery. Bring it to a consistency which is thick enough to coat the drum sticks. Clean the drum sticks. Srape the outer skin. Cut into 2#39;#39; pieces add salt and chilli powder and leave it for an hr. Heat oil in a kadai or deep fryer, when the oil is hot carefully coat the drum sticks with the batter make sure the batter nicely covers the pieces, then deep fry. Once done,removeit from the oil remove excess oil by dabbing on paper towel. Serve hot with rice, rasam, daal , yogurt. Yummmyyy!!!
