DOUBLE DECAR VEG WITH BROKEN WHEAT

Ingredients used in DOUBLE DECAR VEG WITH BROKEN WHEAT
• Broken wheat - 1 cup.
• Butter - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic (crushed) - half tea spoon.
• French beans (big pieces) - 1/4 cup.
• Shallots (chopped into 2 halves) - 1/4 cup.
• Carrot (cubes) - 1/4 cup.
• Pumpkin (cubes) - 1/4 cup.
• Potato (cubes) - 1/4 cup.
• Celery - 1/4 cup.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Vegetable stock - 1-1/2 cup.
• Zucchini - 1/2 cup.
• Tomato - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Soak the broken wheat for 15 minutes, strain water, transfer into seiver and mix butter in it.
  • To it, add coriander leaves, salt, lime juice and mix it.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add crushed garlic, chopped french beans, shallots, carrots cubes, pumpkin cubes, potato cubes, celery and saute it.
  • To it add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and saute it.
  • Add vegetable stock, little water and top of pan place the mesh spread broken wheat mixture. Place lid on it and steam it for 5 minutes. Later remove mesh along with lid and add zucchini, tomato and mix it.
  • Place mesh along with lid and cook it for 2 minutes. Take serving plate and add cooked vegetable, cooked broken wheat.
  • Add little lime juice, garnish with coriander leaves.

Now double decar veg with broken wheat is ready to serve.
