Desi nachos is a snack recipe prepared with sweet corn or maize flour which can be stored in an airtight container and can be served with salsa to relish.
- Boil water in a pan to mix batter.
- Take the blender, add sweetcorn and blend it into a smooth paste.
- Dry roast groundnut and crush them into slightly coarse powder using pestle.
- In a bowl, add chickpea flour, carom seeds, cumin powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, sweet corn paste and mix thoroughly using warm water until it comes to dosa batter consistency.
- Heat pan, pour one ladle full of batter and spread like dosa and cook it on one side using the oil.
- Now, cut the dosa into triangles pieces using the pizza cutter.
- Heat oil in another pan, fry this triangles pieces into light golden brown in colour and transfer the nachos into paper towel.
- Take a bowl, add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, onions, lime juice, salt, crushed ground nut, mix thoroughly and keep the salsa mixture aside.
- Now take the nachos and spread the salsa mixture and serve it.
