Ingredients used in Besan Ki Barfi
• Ghee - 1/4 cup.
• Chickpea flour - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 2 pinch.
• Sugar - 3/4 cup.
• Water (as required) - 1/4 cup.
• Slivered almonds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cashew nut (pieces) - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add chickpea flour, saute it nicely and cook it for 8-10 minutes on medium flame until ghee oozes out and slightly lump formed.
  • Now add cardamom powder and mix nicely.
  • In another pan, add sugar, little water and boil it until sugar syrup is formed until one string consistency.
  • In a Pan add chickpea flour mixture, add sugar syrup mix nicely without any lump.
  • Grease the plate and spread burfi mixture nicely with spoon or spatula and sprinkle slivered almonds, cashew nut pieces and rest it for 30-40 minutes.
  • Cut into pieces and transfer into serving plate.

Now besan ki burfi is ready to serve.
