Ingredients used in TOOR DAL POWDER 1
• Toor dal - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Dry red chilli - 5-6 numbers.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch.
• Tamarind - 10 grams.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Dry roast toor dal in a hot pan until it turns red in color and let it cool down.
  • Heat oil in a pan add dry red chili, coriander seeds, cumin seeds saute it for a minute then add fenugreek seeds, tamarind, hing, curry leaves. After all, these ingredients are slightly roasted put them in the toor dal plate and let it cool down.
  • In a blender add all the ingredients make it into a coarse powder by adding salt.

Serve this with hot rice along with ghee.
