Ingredients used in til ka laddu seaseme
• Jaggery - 500 grams.
• Seaseme seeds - 250 grams.
• Peanuts - 250 grams.
Method:
peanuts - 250 gms seaseme seeds -250 gms jaggery - 500 gms roast peanuts, remove skin. blend in mixer to coarse powder. roast seaseme seeds abd blend it in mixer to coarse powder. if u have powdered jaggery, u can add directly. if u have cubes, beat it up in smaller pieces and blend it in mixer. mix all three together. check if it can be binded into balls. In case, u r not able to bind it balls add the mixture to mixer and blend it so that til and peanuts release more oil. and bind the laddus again. u can add cardamom powder or nutmeg powder to the laddu mixture if u like. if u have tough cubes of jaggery and find it difficult to blend in mixer,, then steam the jaggery in cooker for 2 whistles. make sure water doesnt enter the jaggery and then its soft enough to crush or blend. this will make 35-40 laddus. if u do not wish to use peanuts then one can add another 250 gms of seaseme seeds instead of peanuts.
