Ingredients used in Sukha Palak Gosht
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Shahi jeera - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Peppercorns - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Onions (medium size) - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Tomato (medium size) - 1 number.
• Spinach - 3 bunch.
• Garlic (chopped) - 3 cloves.
• Nutmeg powder - 1 pinch.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 3-4 tablespoons.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add shahi jeera, Peppercorns, sliced onions and add salt cook this till it is slightly colored.
  • In this add Mutton pieces, ginger garlic paste and roast this for 5 minutes then add Coriander powder, red chili powder mix well and cook it for some time.
  • Then add sliced tomato and water and put the lid on and cook it for 3 to 4 vessels till it meat is tender.
  • Fry the chopped spinach in a hot oil and keep aside.
  • Transfer the meat into a pan then add chopped garlic, nutmeg powder, garam masala and add deep fried spinach mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Serve this with rice.
