• Kodam puli or tamarind soaked for an hour to make it quick soak it in luke warm water - 1 lemon size .

Method:
1. Take a pan (Take a clay pan (meen chatti) the fish curry is tastier in these pans)
2. Finely chop onion and tomatoes into small,add all the ingredients (chilli powder,coriander powder ,turmeric powder and salt and tamarind extract water mix well with hands till the tomatoes are finely squeezed and it looks pulpy,
3 now keep it in a low flame on the stove till it boils add a little water ( 1 cup) allow it to boil,
4. mean while wash the fish and drain water, when the curry starts boiling add the fish to it and cook for 5 min and add the grond coconut and allow it to boil,
5. take another pan or kadai heat oil (if its coconut oil it tastes really good) coconut oil is used in kerala for cooking ) (u can also use refined oil if you don like the smell of coconut oil in curry ) once the oil is heat add curry leaves and add this to the boiling curry ( if u want it more spicy u can add chilly powder anytime and jus boil for a min
the fish curry is more tastier the next day after preparation.
