MUMBAI CUTTING TEA

Ingredients used in MUMBAI CUTTING TEA
• Water - 1/2 cup.
• Milk - 1/2 cup.
• Tea powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Fennel seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cardamom - 1 number.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
Method:
  • Boil water, milk in tea container.
  • Add tea powder, sugar and boil it.
  • Crush fennel seeds, cardamom, ginger with pestle.
  • Add crushed powder in boiling tea and boil again for 3 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a cup.

Now the Mumbai cutting tea is ready to serve.

I dont like masala chai very much because it tastes very milky, not like tea. I am more an advocte for straight tea/coffee. Tea is certainly not good in any recipe that calls for lots of milk. coffee on the other hand may be more desirable for those
