BUTTER BALLS

Ingredients used in BUTTER BALLS
• Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
• Rice flour - 1 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Sesame seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Asafoetida - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • Take urad dal and dry roast in a pan and transfer into mixie jar and blend into fine powder.
  • Take a bowl, add rice flour, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, salt, butter and mix nicely.
  • Add 1 tsp urad dal powder, water and make a dough.
  • Take small portion of dough and make round balls and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in slow flame and deep fry ball until crispy, later transfer into paper towel.

Now Butter Balls are ready to serve.

dear ragini I have tried this recipe every thing was good it has come out with nice and crispy taste but while defrying one or two balls have blast in oil itself it fallen on me?
