Ingredients used in potato and pomegranate salad
• Roasted seasme seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Honey - 1 tablespoon.
• Spring onions (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillis (chopped) - 1 number.
• Tomatos (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Cucumber (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Pomegranate seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Boiled potato (chopped) - 1 number.
• Lemon juice - as required.
• Puffed rice - 1 tablespoon.
• Sev - as required.
Method:
  • Take a bowl add boiled potatos cut into small cubes, add pomegranate seeds, chopped cucumber and tomatos, green chilies, salt, spring onion, honey, roasted seasme seeds, lemon juice, puffed rice, mix well.
  • Serve in a serving plate top it of with sev.

Anyone know what is the yellow/orange thing he sprinkles on the salad at the end? It sounds like he's saying "sev", but I don't know what that is. Is it saffron?

its a savory snack made with gram flour i think (chickpea flour), its crunchy and salty...not saffron... i guess you could find it in an indian store

Its not saffron. Its deep fried noodle kind of thing. Available at Indian grocery store.
