Pot Chicken Rice Oriental Biryani

Ingredients used in Pot Chicken Rice Oriental Biryani
• Onion (medium) - 1 number.
• Carrot - 1 number.
• Mushrooms - 9 numbers.
• Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• Soya sauce (dark) - 1 tablespoon.
• Soya sauce (light) - 1 tablespoon.
• Chicken pieces - 300 grams.
• Green chilly - 3 numbers.
• Ginger slices - 2 pieces.
• Garlic slices - 7 cloves.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chicken stock - 2 cups.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Spring onions(chopped) green part - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a clay pot, add a slice of garlic, ginger, green chillies, saute it slightly, then add chicken pieces, light Soya sauce, dark Soya sauce, oyster sauce, cook this for few more minutes.
  • Then add mushrooms, roundels of carrot, onion diced, saute it.
  • In the same pan, even add salt, chicken stock, once come to boil, add rice (soak the rice for 30 minutes), mix it well, put the lid on let it cook for 10 minutes, (you can cook this in the oven at 200 c for 20 to 30 minutes) once mix the rice then cook this on a slow flame for 1 more minute.
  • Switch off the flame and rest it for 10 minutes and then serve it.
