Recipe of palak ki Kadhi

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Spinach 1/4 Bunch
Sour Curd 500 Grams
Water 1 1/4 Cup
Bengal Gram Flour 1 Teaspoons
Red Chillies 3 Numbers
Turmeric 1 Pinch
Curry Leaves 2 Springs
Garlic 6 Clove
Coriander Springs


  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai, add red chillies, curry leaves and let the tempering crackle a little. 
  2. Add the palak leaves and stir for 1/2 a minute and cover the kadhai on a slow flame. 
  3. Meanwhile beat the curd along with the masala paste turmeric and besan into a homogenous paste and slowly add water. 
  4. The palak would be half cooked in about 5 min and then add the curd mixture and stir well. 
  5. Now add the salt according to your taste.  let it be on the flame till a boil comes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander.
  7. Serve boiled rice and papad, makes an exciting meal
