Recipe of Mutton Shahjahani

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Mutton 500 Grams
Onions 60 Grams
Garlic 6 Numbers
Ginger 10 Grams
Poppy Seeds 5 Grams
Coriander Leaves 1 Bunch
Cinnamon 5 Grams
Cloves 5 Grams
Cardamoms 5 Grams
Asafoetida To Taste
Red Chillies 60 Grams
Fat To Taste
Salt
Stock Or Water

Directions

1. Clean and cut meat into 2.5 cm cubes .

2. Grind the spices to a smooth paste .

3. Slice onions and fry till brown .

4. Add ground spices and fry .

 5. When fat starting oozing out , add mutton ;fry for about 20 minutes .Add stock and salt .

6. Reduce temperature and simmer till meat is tender .

 7. Remove on to a dish .8. Garnish with silvers of almond and silver paper .
