Recipe of Masala Bhath

Rice 1 Cup
Onions Chopped 1 Numbers
Peas Boiled 1/2 Cup
Carrot Thinly Chopped 1 Numbers
Cabbage Chopped 1 Tablespoons
Stalk Curry Leaves 1 Numbers
Ginger Grated 1/2 Teaspoons
Garlic Grated 1/2 Teaspoons
Green Chillies Halved 2 Numbers
Broken Cashews 1 Tablespoons
Small Raisins 1 Tablespoons
Peanuts 1 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Black Maharashtrian Masala 2 Teaspoons
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste
Lemon Juice 1 Teaspoons
Oil 3 Tablespoons

Directions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy large skillet.
  3. Add cashews, peanuts, fry till light brown.
  4. Add green chilli, curry leaves, cumin seeds, allow to splutter.
  5. Add ginger, garlic, stir. Add onion, stir.
  6. Add all other vegetables, raisins, masalas, rice, stir 2 minutes.
  7. Add 4 cups water, masalas, lemon juice, salt.
  8. Bring to a boil, cover, simmer till done.
  9. Stir occasionally, add more water if required.
  10. All water should evaporate when the grain is cooked.
  11. Serve hot with kadhi or curd raitha.

THis reciepe is not authentic. It is just a diffrent version of pulao. Try some other sites for authentic reciepe.
