Ingredients used in Gojju Avalakki
• Salt to taste - 1 to taste.
• Hing - 2 pinch.
• Turmeric - 1 .
• Chana dhal - 1 .
• Urad dhal - 1 .
• Jeera - 1 .
• Mustard - 1 .
• Sunflower oil - 4 tablespoons.
• Groundnut - 2 tablespoons.
• Fresh coconut grated - 5 tablespoons.
• Sambar powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Rasam powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Thick tamarind juice - 1/4 cup.
• Avalakki / poha / flaked rice - 2 cup.
• Copped corainder leaves - 10 leaf.
• Curry leaf - 5 leaf.
• Jaggery powder - small.
Method:

Grind Coarsely the poha add thick tamarind juice, rasam powder, sambar powder, jaggery powder, salt to taste and mix it thoroughly and keep this poha mixture aside For seasoning, take a sauce pan add oil, when the oil is hot add mustard, after it spaters, add chana dhal, urad dhal, peanut, turmeric powder, hing powder, jeera and curry leaves. Now add the poha mixture to the sauce pan and mix it well and turnoff the fire, garnish it with chopped corainder and grated coconut. Gojju avalakki goes well with yoghurt / curds
