FATTA FAT CHUTNEY - FAT FREE TOMATO CHUTNEY

Ingredients used in FATTA FAT CHUTNEY - FAT FREE TOMATO CHUTNEY
• Tomato - 250 grams.
• Tamarind - 10 grams.
• Green chilli - 4 numbers.
• Garlic cloves - 5-6 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mint leaves - 1 tablespoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • In a vessel add tomato pieces, water, tamarind, Pinch of turmeric powder, green chili, garlic and coriander leaves then add some salt and put the lid on to cook for 5 minutes.
  • Once the tomatoes are cooked add some mint leaves.
  • Allow cooling completely. Pour the mixture into a blender and make a coarse paste.

Serve this chutney with Rice, upma, and pongal.
