Description
Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern dish, Falafel is a delicious patty made from ground chickpeas or fava beans and is usually served in a pita which acts as a pocket or wrapped in a flatbread known as lafa. The falafel balls are topped with salads, pickled vegetables, hot sauce and drizzled with tahini based sauces.

Recipe of Falafel

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Soaked chickpeas  1 Cup
Baking soda  1/2 Teaspoons
salt  1 Teaspoons
Minced Onions  1/2 Cup
Minced Parsley or coriander leaves  2 Tablespoons
Chillies   To Taste
Cumin powder  1 Teaspoons
Coriander  1 Teaspoons
Minced Garlic  2 Clove
Lemon Juice  1 Tablespoons
Blackpepper powder  1 Teaspoons
Maida/All purpose flour  3 Tablespoons

Directions
Grind all the ingredients to a coarse form without water. Heat oil in a Kadai for frying. Once the oil gets heated enough for frying, make patties out of the coarse mixture amp; fry them just like Vadas. Serve Falafel as an appetizer or as a evening snack.
